Discovering LSD: Science, Music, and Microdosing with James Fadiman, Erika Dyck, and Mendel Kaelen
Santa Cruz, California
How does LSD work in the brain? What is microdosing, and can it help enhance creativity and productivity? What can the turbulent history of LSD over the last 75 years tell us about its future?
In this webinar, three of our favorite researchers will share what science is teaching us about LSD, the world’s most famous psychedelic drug.
We will learn about the scientific history of LSD from medical historian Erika Dyck, Ph.D., from Albert Hofmann’s discovery of LSD’s psychoactive properties in 1943 to the new wave of research into LSD as a tool for therapy and creativity.
We will also explore the neuroscience of LSD, and learn how music affects LSD experiences from Mendel Kaelen of Imperial College London.
Finally, we.ll discover the latest insights about microdosing LSD for creativity and personal growth from James Fadiman, Ph.D., author of The Psychedelic Explorer’s Guide. Together, we’ll explore what modern science knows about LSD–and what it doesn’t.
